I know for a fact that the OSU job is down to 3 candidates and they will make a announcement before trials start in several weeks.

Wyoming made initial phone calls last week. 100 applicants, not sure how many were contacted by phone. Campus interviews this week, I think.

Looks like UVA is getting rid of all traces of the old regime. That's too bad because those coaches were doing a good job. Wrong place wrong time, I guess.

Three SUNY schools are looking for head coaches right now:
Buffalo State (DIII, not to be confused with UB)
SUNY Delhi
and, reportedly SUNY Brockport

Any connection or just a coincidence?

do we really think Brett Johnson would be that upset about those guys leaving? Seems a little emotional for coaches he isn't directly involved with. Word on the street is Watson applied for the Tenesse job

I hope that isn't true - don't know Eskind but Richardson is a great coach and more importantly a great guy - coaching in the ncaa is far from a stable profession - when vig was gone and fetzer came in it made you wonder if the old coaches had a chance - if that post is true i sure as hell hope they land on their feet

word around osu campus is that ed is the lead candidate and other 2 other major major DI head coaches as the other two.. interviews are supposed to take place this week and next.. sounds like Gene is pulling out the check book
