You obviously have not looked at Stanford's point production at the Pac-12 and NCAA Finals, have you?

Light=Oklahoma
Who replaced Gavin O'neal at Columbia University? As sprints and jumps coach
Rock Light is the obvious and best choice for Oklahoma. He fits every event area that Coach Smith needs in this hire and he has proven his dominance as one of the foremost coaches in the Big 12 and the NCAA. This needs to be done yesterday.
Reuben Jones from Brown.
Well then who got the sprint job at Brown, now that both the sprint coach and head coach are gone?
Hear its gonna be Kebba Tolbert of Harvard.

Oklahoma doesn't have a sprints opening
If the circumstances were turned around and it was you, what solution do you think would be best for the growth of the coach as an individual and the program? If you overlook it, there cannot be full reformation for the coach and it diminishes the integrity of the school. But without opportunity, there is no chance for the coach to prove progress.
A world where we don't believe people can right their wrongs is a hopeless and sad place to live. What do you suggest?
individuals who make decisions like he did and act in the way that he did with his student athletes do not belong in the collegiate coaching setting, plain and simple. Now as far as never having the chance to grow and regain integrity? I totally agree that he should have that opportunity, but NOT immediately back in the NCAA at a DI program working with women only. That is irresponsible on the universities part. With all of the issues schools have now with compliance and coach/athlete relationships, to see this fall through the cracks is disheartening. ANY coach who believes this is OK is ignorant. A coach/athlete relationships is sacred. Once you decide to cross that line you shouldn't be allowed into that position again.
Anyone have an inside scoop on the Mckendree University opening? I have applied and they are beginning the process. Why did Neal West leave suddenly?
Jody Stewart from Georgetown will follow Coach Miltenburg to Stanford as Sprints and Jumps Coach.
I met him at a few outdoor meets, he's a great young coach.
I’ve been quietly observing this story for a bit because I care. It is refreshing to read wise comments like yours. Too bad they gave him the position immediately. I would’ve really liked to see his progress and how he coached himself back to Division I.
To compare to Penn State is a bit ridiculous. We are talking about two consenting adults. In addition, not every school in the country has a written policy against relationships like this. It is sometimes not as seedy as it is made out to be.
I can name a bunch of coaches off the top of my head that are married to former runners: Rollie Geiger, Marc Burns, L:ayne Anderson, etc. These guys are all great guys and good coaches.
Is that true?

Add Al Joyner to that list...

These two young coaches will probably to a great job at Stanford for many years to come. Best of luck to both of them.
As a Georgetown Alumni Coach Stewart will be missed. Congrats to him and Milt!
Is this confirmed?
