Who else is in at Clemson??
Joe Klim hired at Penn
East Tennessee State University hired David Johnston for the jumps and multi position.
Pretty good hire. He was an All American decathlete, and has coached multiple elites over the past 30 to 40 years in the pole vault and decathlon.
Lamar coaching position?
Just wondering has Stanford filled their void for a throws coach?
They have their 2013 roster out but no coach.
Cincinnati men is still a good program - they finished 7th last year at Outdoor Big East, beating fully funded teams like Louisville and Georgetown. They got good facilities and good coaches. Might hand the reigns of both programs over to Seaton, the current women's head coach. She has really elevated the women's program the last two years.
Is Kyle White staying at Stanford with the new head coach?

Without scholarships it's just a matter of waiting until the scholarship guys graduate and the team will be a waste of time to lead. It would be a waste of her energies to take on a sinking ship.
For those in the know, is Miami looking for someone to whom can help make the throws and jumps competitive in the ACC and NCAA or just someone to oversee the groups so the scholarships only go towards the sprints/hurdles?
Any rumors on what Stanford is looking to do with the field event position?
What about Hawaii and Michigan State vacancies?
Stevenson stays at Stanford for jumps/ multis
White stays at Stanford for sprints/ hurdles/ HJ
Wagstaffe stays at Stanford as DO.
Jebreh Harris taking over for KD at UNLV
The new director at Stanford is letting everyone go and that's a fact!

Figures. He(head coach) seems to have gone the easy route with regard to recruiting, so selecting an international wouldn't be a surprise.

Clemson will fill their staff this weekend with the final hire. Coach Johnson has assembled quite a staff from what I hear.
And.... they will be gone by June 15, 2013. I hope they are getting moving costs in their contract.. to and from Clemson !

I love how people call going international "going the easy way". it is not necessary easy to go international. Those kid can take more effort to recruit and a lot of the time are more fun to coach because they know they are being brought in to do a job "run fast", instead of american distance runners who can tend to be a little entitled.
Not mention the fact that it would be next to impossible to get any good american to go to Lamar. they maybe could get some 4:20/9:20 guys, but lets face it those are very average times and getting seven 4:20/9:20 guys can not get a team to NCAA's without some miracles happening. You need some studs!

Red Bull (who sponsors Mondo) calls Mondo the pole vaulting Usain Bolt. Is that a fair comparison?
