If there was proof of a hire people wouldn't be coming here for info. But it's pretty well known in the Bay Area that he's the new SJSU coach.

So the dominoes are beginning to line up in job openings. So let's get the rumors started about who's taking over at North Carolina, Mississippi, and Ohio State. These 3 jobs are now posted or at least have been. What do you think the fall out from these vacancies will be.
Bet you balls to dollars that Mitchell has already applied and Lawson will claim that they have called him about it.
And....neither will get the job.
Speaking of the UNC job.

As much as I would like to agree, the "3rd year minority female" has 4 additional years of experience as an top athlete in the nu program giving her 7 total years of experience in that program. And the "6 year white male" simply doesn't have the demeanor or the patience for job. and probably prefers his current role.
I'm going to leave out the whole "minority female" versus "white male" issue because that is irrelevant - or at least it should, and hopefully will, be. Experience as an athlete and experience as a coach are obviously two very different things. Also, take a look at the number of points scored by some segments of the team versus others the past few years at the conference meet. Now compare the number of scholarships given to those respective squads. Inexcusable. From conference champions to DFL in just a few years is, also, inexcusable. Anyway, there should be a nation-wide search for the new coach, and that new coach should have elite-level head coaching experience.
Any jobs out there that aren't being listed? I've heard that Mankato will be looking for an assistant on the Women's side. Did West Texas A and M ever fill their position that was posted? Will the real movement occur after the conference and national meets?
Who gets considered for Ohio State?
Who gets a shot at UNC?
What's going on at Mississippi State?
Look for some interesting days in the Big 10 next week (following the conference meet). There may be some announcements on Monday or Tuesday.
Some big changes are surely afoot. Why is everyone so silent? Because last year's thread was controversial?
Does anyone know what is going on with the head coach at Northeastern, I heard he was suspended?
The rumor mills proves again.

Which position would you be talking about?
How old is Ron Davis????
He went to hs school with my grandpa who I believe graduated high school in '58. You do the math. Kind of an odd choice to start up a women's track program from scratch. Better get some eager and energetic assitants.
There has to be some good skuttle going on at the various conference meets. Come on, give with some!

I could believe they will separate the programs and JJ will have only the Women again. But I do not see JJ getting fired. The Women are 12th in the final USTFCCCA regular season ranking.
