Ryan Hall for the faith.. and/or JennyB or centro for showing up in the clutch
Do you mean who is the guy who gets all the credit for his team winning when the defense is actually winning the games for them?
Lawi LaLang obivously, all heart, and gives it to god!
Easy: Galen Rupp. No matter what he does he gets no credit. Haters gotta hate.
The 7th man on the 10th to 15th best team in the NCAA who somehow found a way to get all the credit for his team's success. Whoever that would be, he's the Tim Tebow of distance running.
Matt Withrow
They were 1-4 without him and 7-1 with him. You dont think that has something to do with him now do you??
The denver defense has held the opposition to 15 or less points in 5 of denver's past 7 wins. You don't think those wins had a lot to do with them now do you??

Has to be Jenny B. Nobody thought she could go from the steeple to the 1500, like Tebow going from college to the NFL. And both showed up on the highest level when it counts. Both being in the 4th quarter. (well technically it's not the fourth quarter for Jenny B. as its only a 1500 and it's sometimes OT for Tebow)
The obvious. Where was that defense when they went 1-4?
Of course the D is a major factor in their winning. But you know what? They have stepped up their game because they believe in what Tebow can do when he's on the field. To quote Champ Bailey:
"We missed the onside kick. Then, all of a sudden, Barber goes out of bounds and gives us a chance,” Champ Bailey marveled. “We knew right then we still had a fighting chance. If you give our offense a chance in the end, good things might happen."

Quotes from the Broncos Defense about Tebow are not hard to find. They've stepped up their game b/c they have a QB who they feel can get the job done if given the chance. Tebow is then given the spotlight, and has been pretty good on following though with those chances.
Without Tebow, their Defense doesn't have the motivation to step up and put it all out there (see their performances prior to Tebow's start). And, without an amp'd and motivated Defense, Tebow isn't given the opportunities to pull through. They complement each other. Sure they're not getting the media hype that Tebow is, but that's the way football media coverage is. It's all about the QB. Sad, but dem's da breaks. The day they put their egos in front of their desire to win and actually start caring and making vocal their concerns about their lack of media coverage is the day you'll start to see the Broncos lose b/c winning as a team will no longer be their top priority. I'm not saying they shouldn't be given their due credit, but if they were to start crying about it then I think you'd see a shift in the team dynamic that has taken them so very far this season.
By the way, this is all from the point-of-view of a Redskins fan who desperately can see the value that a truly motivational persona has on a team and would give a testicle to have the same passion from the players and fervor from the fans that Denver currently has.
As much as people want to deny it Tebow is a main reason for their success lately. He might not have been THE reason for all their wins but he has played a huge part. Take him away i still think they would have won a couple games but no... not 7-1
Wouldn't it have to be someone who wins races for seemingly no reason at all? Like someone with slow PRs and also a mediocre kick who has won a bunch of high-level races.
Asbel Kiprop: Slow PR. Horrible tactician. He is the reigning Olympic AND world Champion.
Its clearly Ryan Hall.
The Christian thing is obvious.
That said he is constantly running terrible half marathons and other under-distance races and then coming up big in the marathons! (like tebow's garbage for the first 3 quarters before the rediculous 4th quarter.)
So hall hasn't won a major, but I don't anticipate tebow winning the superbowl either. That doesn't change the fact that they aren't supposed to be there: ryan because he's white and tebow because his throws look like wounded ducks. Yet Ryan is pretty much a lock to atleast break 2:09 and get top 5 and Tebow will throw or run for 150 yards and score once or twice in the 4th quarter.
And, they are both completely humble but also believe great things can happen given the chance.
Rupp
I'll go with Centro.
At USTAF more than half of the field had faster PR's and he won.
He then medalled at Worlds, beating even more people that were faster than him.
His opponents keep him in the game until the 4th quarter where makes the big plays.
I dont think its just that he is winning that he is getting alot of credit i think its more of the fact that pretty much everybody counted him out... And now this.

Pod - Except i'm not sure how clean of a life he's living. Remember when he got booted from Keino's camp for relations with ladies of the opposite sex?
Next.
I dont think Jenny B is appropriate as she was a sub-4 runner in college, meaning she was the #1 overall draft pick.
Is there a rule against attaching a helium balloon to yourself while running a road race?
Am I living in the twilight zone? The Boston Marathon weather was terrible!
How rare is it to run a sub 5 minute mile AND bench press 225?
Move over Mark Coogan, Rojo and John Kellogg share their 3 favorite mile workouts
Mark Coogan says that if you could only do 3 workouts as a 1500m runner you should do these
Red Bull (who sponsors Mondo) calls Mondo the pole vaulting Usain Bolt. Is that a fair comparison?
