How's this news? I had a sister who ran 2:48 for the 800.
my grandpa is ed whitlock
2:48's not even a respectable time
I am sure there are many, many 25 year old Kenyans who have ran 1:48 for the 800. What is the big deal?
Great. Let's recruit another Kenyan over to our HS ranks and kick our boy's asses.
My sister still has 2 years of eligibility left and she's from Iowa and loves apple pie. She doesn't really like baseball, but we can probably overlook that.
15 in Kenyan years or American years?
I didn't say she was 15, but yes, she just turned 15 American years. I don't even know how long a Kenyan year is.

I was actually referring to Cheserek's brother

Really? You figured that out all by yourself now, did ya Sherlock?
my sister ran a 2:58. true story.
My sister got a 200% on her English test the other day.
The problem is that the Kenyan year is equal to eighteen months.
How do you know this? Is this really true?

Of course it is true. I thought that this was common knowledge around here, what with all the obsession about the Kenyans.
Look, Kenya straddles the equator. Half of it lies in the northern hemisphere (where a year is of course twelve months) and half of it in the southern hemisphere (where a year is twenty four months). In order to keep the country united the Eighteen Month Act (c.b. 3433) was passed in 1956 compromising by making the year eighteen months for the entire country. Of course nobody was happy with this compromise which pretty much shows that it was fair all around.
Come on folks, if you want to consider yourself a runner you should at least be up on remedial Kenyan.
The other day I was jogging on the track just as my half cousin was closing the last 100m of his 1600m time trial and as he crossed he looked at his watched and yelled "YES! 4:01.12!!" He barely looked tired. I was impressed to say the least. I wish I could run that fast when I was 13.
this is going to get better. Sorry I dont have any fast relatives, nor know any remedial kenyan
my teammate once ate 3 racks of ribs, a plate of nachos, 26 snicker bars, and a 12 pound lobster before putting on a dominant display at the bernards invitational 2 mile. he overcame what is unofficially known as the worst side stitch in history to finish with a huge PB. truly inspirational stuff
