I think it's pretty safe to Cheserek will easily win it. Also, the fact that their running at a very hard course, Sunken Meadow, do you think Cheserek will go sub-15?

course record 15:20
He ran 15:20 ftw. Pretty impressive time. Big course record, and 2:20 faster than Aisling Cuffe's course record. Most elite guys don't get within 2 minutes of Cuffe's CRs so that's a very strong time.

Hard to say. Maybe you should ask the east coast folks. Their pretty good with there predictions about how fast the kids will run over they're.
Looked like he was on cruise control the whole way. Vin Lanana was there and watching, btw.
any full results yet?
I don't know what the old record was, but a lot of good guys have run on that course including John T and John G. I would guess Edward did not break the record by much becasue NY had some really great runners in the late 70s to mid-80s who ran at SM.
The course is the same but it is significantly sandier (re: slower) than it was in the 70s. This is crazy fast.

He broke the course record of 15:32 set by Gregorek.
If he ran 12 seconds faster than Gregorek and assuming the course and conditions were similar...that's a very impressive run.
i watched him finish and i could have sworn it was 15:02 for some reason... i'm so confused. i guess i must have misread the clock because it was displaying numbers wrong (i.e. 4 came up as 9 if it was 40-something seconds). regardless of what his time was though, it was definitely a course record and he just destroyed the field. some people tried to go out with him but after the first hill he already had a pretty big lead, and it only grew from there.
I'm pretty sure Cheserek could have gone 15 seconds faster. Sunken Meadow is about 15 seconds slower than Holmdel and Cheserek ran 25 seconds slower than his Holmdel pr that he ran in the beginning of the season.
Massachusetts wins team title :)
That sounds completely arbitrary.
to support that he probably could have been faster, i have to agree with brotherfromanotherplanet's post - he looked like he was just cruising away with it the whole time, and not at all killing himself. i guess he could just run that gracefully, but he really didn't seem to be straining. too bad they don't allow spectators on cardiac; he might have looked different there.
Dan Lennon to Cuse.
forgot to mention... someone did tell me where connor rog is going but i'm not certain i remember correctly; i think it was wake forest.
