UAA has a great program, one of the best. I credit all my success to the UAA coaches. I have never met such caring people. Our coaches are involved and care about us beyond running. We have our blood levels checked often so vitamin D is not a issue. We also have grade checks every semester, making sure we are on track. We are more than just runners, we're a family.
I can promise you if there ever was a point where one of the Kenyans wanted to go home, they would be long gone by now. I have never met such strong, motivational human beings. We choose to live in Alaska, doing what we love. We run to experience and we risk everything to better ourselves. Our team has been through so much in 8 months. We can only hope for a brighter future. Thank you for your concern and I hope you continue to respect us for who we are.
