Korir making a gap @4400m
Colorado has two in the front pack
Looks like Andrew Whacker? of CO is the only one covering Korir's move at 5k... a bit back is Medina(sp?) of CO.
Fout is in 7th
This thread is already more informative than the announcer.
team scores at 5k:
1.Portland: 102 points
2. Iona
CO and FSU tied
KORIR is pulling away from Wacker @ 7000m...about a 10m gap
Lol, they almost went off the course on the final straight.
Finish:
Korir
Wacker
Just under 24 I believe
Fout in 6th or so ~24.10
Yeah, lots of dead air on the live feed...sorry about the lack of info on the updates...splits weren't given and the video was a little too grainy to make out who everyone was.
post race interview
Korir: "I had to work hard to win"
Wacker (2nd) was a 13:41/29:10 in 2011 track
Wacker reminds me of that guy from the movie Juno. Awesome.
Anyone see how Ammar Moussa did or if he even raced?
Colorado is going to be good if Bosshard shows up with Medina and Wacker in 5 weeks.

I missed the live video, anyone know when they will put up the replay?
Keeping an eye out for Iona in the race it seemed like they had a solid top 4 (around top 20), but had to wait for the 60's for their 5th man to come in. Obviously in a race like Nationals a gap like that would add a huge chunk to their points total. Hoping someone steps up over the next month to fill that void.
It was interesting to watch Iona's workout on Flotrack last week that they only had 4 guys in their top group. Maybe the large gap back to their 5th man shouldn't be that surprising.
Colorado looked to run a very good team race with their top two running strong towards the front and the next 3 moving through well in the second half (as we all know Colorado like to do)
Updates on the women's race?
