Interesting results at the Wisconsin invitational...Reid narrowly edges Hasay while the Vanderbilt women get 2nd place(where did that come from) Villanova women only get 4th

Haven't seen a race video or how it played out, but I must say it must be frustrating for Hasay..always narrowly loses to Sheila. But it does seem like its getting closer (In XC that is), 2.5 seconds this time. Things could change in another 5 weeks...

True, as a big time D1 coach, I can tell you that the gap will be larger.

The Vanderbilt women have been overlooked all year. They have the experience with their 3 seniors, one having qualified individually for xc nats last fall. Along with Smith who transferred from michigan state and sophmore standout Anderson this result was likely to happen. This is Andersons first run of the year with the rest of the team. Watch out for this team to make noise at nats. They have a tight pack that keeps moving forward. This team is proof that the polls mean nothing. They were bumped out of the top 30 last week after moving into it for a week. I think they are a secure top 20 team after this....
I watched the race, she easily pulled away from Hasay while looking over her shoulder and cruising in with Hasay kicking as hard as she could. My guess is she could have won by 15 seconds if she needed to.

I don't know. A Hasay/Reid dual could be most interesting (wink wink).
Check out Gina's interview on Flotrack...she states that Sheila Reid was injured over the summer last year and out of shape going into the season...this year is "wayyy" ahead and training is going extremely well. Doesn't look too good for Jordan. But Jordan looks super strong right now and either needs to develop a better close or try a different strategy (faster pace off the gun).
I'm a huge Jordan Hasay fan, but Sheila Reid just looks like a stronger cross country runner right now.
Vanderbilt>Michigan State academics.
Vandy girls are pretty!!
I think we could be seeing a changing of the gaurd in the south region. Florida was man handled by Vanderbilt. We will see what florida state can do this sunday but damn, vandy came out swinging. This was a complete surprise.
In the flotrack post race interview Reid made it seem like it wasn't that tough for her and that she's feeling much better than last year. My money would be on her.
I don't think Hasay is feeling anything like Reid was... but what do i know?

I'd say you know enough to make a reasonable post, based on fact and observation. Not enough of that around here.
In general, Vandy girls are RIDICULOUS.
As hot as any other school in the south.
