2:11:33 - Beijing proved he doesn't run well in the heat.

2:07:11 for the win
2:09:08 for sixth, due to heat.

His 2:04:57 at Boston is equal to about a 2:08 at Chicago, so that's where I think he's at.

I am surprised that runners on our forum are so obsessed with Hall's time. It could vary as much as four minutes depending on numerous factors including how he feels that day.
I am a little disappointed that somefolks think Hall would rejoice if Mosop showed up at 85%. I have a lot higher opinion of Hall than that.
I hope Mosop shows up in top shape and has a good ole fashion footrace with Hall and three or four other guys. That is what our wonderful sport is all about. If Hall finishes, which I think he will, I predict a 2:05 - 2:10 range and place 1st - 5th. He is a great stud marathoner but not the best in the world.
There's a thing some of us crazy kids are into these days called "guessing". The way the game is played is that everybody takes a "guess", and then whoever "guesses" the closest to what actually happens gets to come back here and pretend like they know what they're talking about.
It's great fun. You should try it some time!
Guessing or whatever is a lot better than 90 % percent of the gossip and bs that goes on with this board.
I want to say sub 2:06:30 but it depends on the competition and pacers. I hope he doesn't start racing till 25-30k.

I think he'll get a good one in

Starting with a base time of 2:05:00
+0:30 for each time he holds his hand to his ear to incite the crowd
:0:02 for each time he looks at his watch
I'll go for 2 ear cups, and 100 watch glances. That is 260 seconds, giving a net of:
