Just for the record, the Brojo's deleted my post, which castigated their lack of professional judgment and their lack of acceptable writing skills (a sore subject, apparently), and which predicted that they would try to justify the picture by talking about how the Rupp-Solinsky rivalry is good for the sport, because they are incapable of apologizing. But why apologize when you can censor calls for apology? |

You guys: have some mercy on the fanboy websites. Fanboy sites have to sensationalize to attract hits and page views. The recession and Facebook/Twitter/Google+/Youtube/Flickr/etc. have drastically stolen traffic and hits from the silver spooned, Trust Fundies, and fanboys. Shoe companies and catalogs are shifting advertising revenue to individual athlete's blogs and facebook pages. |

Just curious, what is the discount code for Runningwarehouse? I could use a good pair of running shoes. I hear they have awesome deals. With that said, I don't understand why so many want things for free...I mean, how do you expect a running site who for the most part gives exceptional information on training, news and what not of the running community to make a living? If you own a business how do expect to cover your expenses? Call the White House? On a serious note, if you're a professional runner/sports player or any public figure for that matter, expect that you will be under a microscope--whether it be good or bad info. If I was Solinsky and saw the front page, it would just "fuel" my fire! Bottom line, you have a choice to read, comment or never come back to this site. That is the beauty of Freedom, right? |

the whole effing reason they put that picture up there is to support the Sol/Rupp rivalry..without rivalries there is no attention in the sport. I dont see why you ignorant fools say this is classless, his record was DEMOLISHED by Rupp so let them put the picture on the website. Maybe one day he'll see this and it'll light a fire under his *ss and he gets good again instead of DNS and DNF'ing every other meet he is chalked up to start in. I dont see how this is any difference than if they put a large picture of Rupp standing next to his AR sign, wait Rupp didnt get a picture of that, the black screen they gave him was a small picture dominated by Africans and then a white guy in the middle.
