I guess if you drink Folgers you can be elite without even breaking a sweat. I wish I had a link to the commercial but I believe it is too new.

I switched over to Folgers from another leading brand and took 4.5 seconds off my 1500 pr. Shites dope.
Come to think of it, I've been getting faster since I started drinking Folgers.
No wonder caffeine is treated as a PED above certain levels!
OMG a new 10K record- Thanks Folgers.

Whoa whoa whoa, let's not go overboard.
This commercial is the phucking shit! You sure that's a 10K? Lets be realistic here - it was an 8K. She's way too legit to be in some local 10K. By the looks of it, she hammered the last mile and was high-fiving her spawn at the finish. Do your intervals Juan Valdez!
Link? Fvckers...
My neighbor says his sex life has just gone crazy since he started drinking folgers. Day and night-it never stops. His wife makes a dozen pots a day now. She can't take that smile off her face.
If you want to run fast drink Green Mountain's blends.
Will have you running to the toilet in no time, awful tasting stuff.
It's obvious the course was short. The real distance was probably about 6.1K.
This is a perfect example of companies that just do not "get" social media. Here is a company with a Facebook Page, Content-Heavy website, etc, yet they have no link to their latest commercial.
A forum with over 100K UMVs has people in their target demographic ASKING for a link, yet it is nowhere to be found.
Does the ad actually show something that indicates the distance of the race, or are you assuming that it is a 10K based on the time?

This hasn't been true for a long, long time.
When she finishes the race she high-fives her daughter at the line under a banner that says 10k. Then they pan to the clock which shows 30:35.
Here's my guess as to what the Folgers marketing people were thinking when they made this commercial. Obviously 30:35 is an unrealistically fast time for a female to run on her own--especially in some random road race. However, the Folgers crew did their research on the sport by reading letsrun. In their research, they discovered the well known phenomenon of "letting someone else do all the work." Because the road race includes runners of both genders, they deferred to the logic of the letsrun running experts and figured that your average female jogger could simply find a 30 minute 10K type guy, let him do all the work, and finish the race without breaking a sweat.
Or maybe they read Letsrun and concluded that every recreational runner in the world can run insanely fast.
I think I saw the ad and noticed the time and was impressed they were accurate as I saw 5k on one of the banners.
Think there will be "Folgers in the cup" when she gives her urine sample?
RIP: D3 All-American Frank Csorba - who ran 13:56 in March - dead
