I think if he does the 5k next year he's a lock for making the team.
I thought Foulmouth was a competition between Dice Clay and Howard Stern

Right, because none of the other contenders for those spots can run 3:54.

Actually that's correct. Besides Lagat none of them can (Rupp, Solinsky and Teg are all 10k now). Unless Webb decides to move up, or Fernandez is good again it is his spot to lose.
great races, great conditions, great track. The pacers in the men's mile took off on the second lap and it helped string the pack out...pace looked quick from the gun, but Jordan M. closed harder and a late charging Jeff See edged out Adrian Blincoe for 2nd...very close race there. This video clip does not do it justice - but I got them coming by a couple times on the far side of the track:

Hesch, still rocking!
boardshorts? wife beater? Mullet?
umm..evan jager is definitely faster then 3:54
Does AJ Acosta have a shoe contract? In the Falmouth Mile photos, he is wearing a Jamul Toads jersey.

And Jordan McNamara beat him every time they raced this year.
not yet- but soon grasshopper, soon. the guy is legit and someone will be stupid not to grab him!
I bet we see Teg back in the 5K next year. Rupp and Solinsky are both dominant enough in US distance running to be on both the 10 and 5K teams. So no, McNamara has little chance of being on the 5K team. Then again, there is a reason you run the races.

Brenda whoop! whoop!
Yeah Brenda is training in Alamosa now? Is she being coached by the Adams State coach?
I think if he does the 5k next year he's a lock for making the team. Really? I mean he beat AJ and Jeff See.
