Steve Cram mentioned this in commentary of British trials. Will be interesting to see what shape he's in if true.

Did he not say he was rumoured to be racing next week, and didn't metnion anything about crystal palace. Obviously if he is racing london would be the obvious choice, but it's likely he would find a smaller meet rather than going up against mo farah at the peak of his powers.
k. bekele probably does not think farah is in his league.
I bet Mr. Bekele has not actually been hurt over the past couple years, but actually been experimenting with new training techniques in the highlands of Tibet. He will break every world record from 3k to 10k in the remainder of the year. Next year, he will do it again. In 2013, he will set the marathon world record. Twice.
Wouldn't it be awesome if KB showed up, clicked off a 12:5low and owned everyone the last 600m just like he never left?

+1
Erm yeh but that would be a pretty poor time for a 3k...

don't be surprised if he does exactly that. he is an excellent runner and ditto doper.
Lagat vs Farah vs Bekele vs Solinsky over 5k would be epic

One of these things is not like the others

Correct. But Lagat vs. Farah vs. Bekele would be incredible.
Solinsky's run two seconds slower than the pr's of Farah and Lagat, so it's not outrageous to put him in there. Of course, he has not proven yet that he can close fast enough to stay with any of those guys at the end.

Someone who DNF when he gets pushed by a tiny East African runner is not worth mentioning.
Cris Solinski is the only clean one. Moh Fara, Barn-Herd Legit, and
Kenniniso Bikila are all dirty.

So basically Solinsky hasn't done jack and the other 3 have?
If those rumors were true that he wasn't injured but had a 2 year ban then he should have no problems coming back and win instantly. We'll have a better understanding soon.
Or are those two years not over yet?
MO - You have had ur 2 mins of fame, now would be a good time to gracefully step aside. THE KING IS BACK!!!!
He is simply the greatest distance runner of all times. Mo is better of taking part in the 5K, he wont be able to live with the scintillating pace Tadesse is gonna set in the second half of the 10K.
i thought there was a 5,000m at this DL meeting? Its unlikely there is both a 3 and 5?
Of course we won't see any signs of Solinsky until worlds. We wouldn't want him to overrace.
RIP: D3 All-American Frank Csorba - who ran 13:56 in March - dead
RENATO can you talk about the preparation of Emile Cairess 2:06
Rest in Peace Adrian Lehmann - 2:11 Swiss marathoner. Dies of heart attack.

Running for Bowerman Track Club used to be cool now its embarrassing
