HAHAHAHAHA CHOKE!!!!!
No, just outplayed.
I beg to differ, the 1970-1971 Boston Bruins and the Patriots team which lost the Stupor Bowl to the New York Giants after a perfect regular season, stand as the greatest chokers of all time...in sports that is.
AL GORE losing to Bush the lesser in 2000 is the greatest choke in politics.
Xerxes losing at Salamis was the greatest military choke of all time. If he'd won, we'd all be speaking Farsi today.
The Great Depression (currently) stands as the greatest economic choke of all time...however if Congress and The Great Uniter continue to act like kids arguing in a sand box we could ALL soon see the NEW greatest economic choke of all time.

Not even close. The true biggest choke was the 2004 Yankees:

It's not a choke when the game is rigged against you.
The japanese women were probably using their monstrous farts to weaken the american women.
what is with the japanese fetish/obsession with women farting? it seems like that fetish was invented in japan.
Let me ask Ralph Nader & the not so Supreme Court about that.
I agree with another poster, this "we are combating cookies" process is awful and inconvenient.
I've been choked more times than anyone
Not even the biggest in World Cup finals. How about Brazil losing in Brazil to Uruguay after leading 1-0 in 1950, or the highly-favored Netherlands scoring before West Germany even touched the ball in 1974, then never scoring again and losing 2-1?
The biggest of all is probably from 1954, the "Miracle of Berne," in which Hungary went up 2-0 on a team of West German amateurs inside ten minutes, lost that lead by twenty minutes, and lost the game on a late goal. That Hungarian team lost only one game between 1950 and 1956 -- that World Cup final.
