Also hepstrack.com site is incredible.
factoring in "home course advantage," Brown actually wins
Not sure what happened to Brian Leung?
Goooo Columbia Women!!!
So what the heck happened to Harvard's top 4 guys? No Leakos, Orman, Ruegg, Korolev??? Those guys were all top recruits. All injured badly enough to have to sit out both Wisc. and Heps? Something else? What is going on up there?
Merber facebooks his rectal temp was 95.4 and is in the hospital for hypothermia.
It was rough out there!
On the women's side:
Abbey D'Agostino was the class of the field...looked strong and smooth in the last half mile.
Waverly Neer...incredible improvement! Getting faster every week...beats Alex Banfich. This girl is the real deal. If she keeps getting fitter, she could be top 10 at Nationals.
Strong performances for the Cornell and Columbia women...such a close race!

3" of snow
Saw Leung do a barrel roll through the mud at the U-turn. Didn't look like he was doing that well even before then, though.
Please note the men's team standings have been revised:
1. 37 Princeton
2. 51 Columbia
3. 79 Dartmouth
4. 91 Brown
5. 125 Cornell
6. 162 Yale
7. 233 Penn
8. DNC Harvard
DNC = Did not compete.
Rather than risk injury on a wet course, Harvard decided to save themselves for regionals.
In comments that were very similar to what he said two weeks ago, Harvard coach Jason Saretsky explained his decision
Saretsky said:
“We decided to not compete at Heps because of the weather,” Saretsky said. “The amount of snow affected it, and the course already was a little iffy to begin with as it had been raining prior to the race—there already was a bunch of mud on that course.”
If you think this is a total joke, then clearly you didn't read this thread a few weeks ago or these articles:

and

After reading those articles (about Harvard not competing at brown because of the mud), all I can say is, "Let's hope it doesn't rain at Heps."
We have a winner. Nice prediction from two weeks ago.
It rained and snowed and Leakos was a DNF. Cotton actually ran but it didn't help. Maybe the intrasquad scrimmages weren't the best idea afterall.

are you freakin kidding me? Is this true?
What? They had 10 or 11 guys there. How is that DNC? There is something bizarre here. It's almost as if the team did something wrong and the administration are not allowing them to "officially" compete for a period of time, without publicizing it. Wisconsin, Brown and now Heps. It's impossible that all their guys are injured at the same time.
In addition to the top 4, there is also Koullick that we have not seen in a while. That's a lot of people. Blumberg and Galebach have been running the last 2 races, but seem to have only jogged them for some reason.
