Jordan McNamara runs 3:56.82 to win the Morton Mile in Dublin. He went from 10th to 1st in the last lap. Assuming he stays healthy (and Webb doesn't), I think he has a chance to make the team next year.

Holy crap. Anyone that knows anything about JMac knows that he is incredibly talented, but I did not see that coming. Glad to see you healthy Jordan. As good as he was in cross (see at Lane when healthy)he might end up being an even better 5k guy.
Any other results?
Ciaran O Lionard also ran well: 3:57.99.
A guy running a 3:56 mile in July is indication of Olympic potential?
A guy being injured for a long period of time, only starting running very slowly in December and winning a 3:56 mile 7 months later is indicative that if he does not get injured again he can be far better with another 12 months of solid training. I never said he was a lock for it, but it would be foolish to count him out.
Love Mc. humble as shit, and a damn good writer.
good dude. glad he ripping shit up.

I'm surprised he ran in dublin. Good run for Macamara he def is another 3:37 type talent. Lots of good americans this year. Torrence is ready to run 3:35, others at 3:36/3:37

He went 3:57.84 last month, and 3:40.43 in late june. This is a bit faster, but hardly shocking considering what he's already done. Not sure why you'd make a comment like that. This is a great run for Jordan, and a nice step forward, but nobody should be shocked if they "know anything about Jmac" You obviously don't know anything about him. It's not like he just ran a 5 second pr out of the blue.
McNamara is progressing nicely after having surgery last year. I watched his progression starting out on the Alter G treadmill and gradually coming back to where he is now. Good of him to try to take the pace in the 1500 at Nationals and at least make the others work a bit.

I know it's letsrun, but is this actually Marty Liquori?
You are probably right. Not sure I'm retarded, think it is more of an opinion thing. I just didn't see a full second PR coming, from a race in Ireland, that I didn't know he was running.
Been awhile since you've gotten laid? It's not like I said anything bad about him.

Didn't say you were retarded. That's just my handle name. I would have called you an f'tard if that was my intention!
If I know J-Mac like I think I do, I'd say he's got something to do with this thread existing. Nothing wrong with a little self-promotion.
