Nice run for Brown. He's having a heck of a season this year. Wish I could say the same for other U.S. runners. I suppose Torrence's 3:54 earlier was pretty good too.

Where are the results for this event ... and the 2 mile and the International mile? Are they listed somewhere else than the official site?
This is making me crazy.
They're on the IAAF site.
Thanks!
results please...can't find them

he is probably the only US miler running consistent and running well. His time converts to about 3:34. I predict him to make world champs the way he is running. I think he has 3:32 in him this year.
Wheating won a stacked race in 3:36 and just ran a 1:45 high 800.
No complaints there.
Brown has been solid this year indoors and so far outdoors.
Brown could be there to claim a spot if the others are not up to par.
Still give the edge to Wheating, Lomong, Manzano and Torrence, who was second in the B heat.
Kind of wonder how Brown got in the big race over Gregson and Torrence.
Kudos to Brown, he ran a great race, a huge PR for him and he is showing consistent improvement. No excuses, no excess fan fair or b.s. He's just out there getting it done race after race. Excellent job Brown!
I would give Russel Brown the nod over Torrence 100x and wouldn't think twice about it. I believe in giving credit where it is due, and a 3:51 is bigtime.
3:46.91
Brown has the fastest 1500 time, indoors and outdoors, and the fastest mile for an American this year, and has been very consistent. I think he has to be favored to make the team for Daegu at this point.
Russell is humble and hungry. On to greatness!
10/10 for Russell Brown. Having Lananna as his coach and Wheating as his training mate have really helped him this year.
who is Haron Keitany???
great race by brown. glad to see him doing well
100x? Really? Even though before this race, Torrence had faster PR's in the 800, 1500, Mile, 3k, Indoor 800, and had just beaten Brown head to head a couple weeks prior at Oxy?
Something was fishy about Brown getting into that race ahead of Gregson and Torrence, and considering that Lanana is his coach, I personally wouldn't doubt that there was something very unfair going on.
Would have loved to see Gregson and Torrence mix it up in the Bowerman Mile, could have seen some big PR's there as well.
idk about torrence, but gregson specifically requested to be in the international mile; he was more competitive there, won it and probably got more money for being in it/being the "reigning" winner and a repeat winner. torrence mightve been the same situation too.
Dude, Torrence is so FULL of himself. No one likes him. He was all talking about how great a miler he was because he won some second tier road mile 3 years in a row at Minn. Like seriously guy??!!! This is the same guy who loves to run down hill miles. Brown is the real deal.

Strava thinks the London Marathon times improved 12 minutes last year thanks to supershoes
Is there a rule against attaching a helium balloon to yourself while running a road race?
