L.V. in 8:29!!!
L.V. in 8:29!!!
Awesome.
And the video didn't show him even once.
great for him, but if GF had tagged along in a race like that he would have run 8:25 or better.

Yeah, effing NBC! Thanks for the update!!!!!!

I think he would've been sub 8:30 definitely. Probably not 8:25 though. Still German was better in high school than LV.

That's pure speculation....KNOCK IT OFF and let LV celebrate his new record!
But he didn't. LV did. Great job!
8:29.46
hmmm let me check my calculator....wait oh no!...
or he would of forgot his shoes, not tied his laces, got injured....
THey just mentioned it casually like it was no big deal! DAMN YOU NBC... can you pretend like you know what is going on! MEntion him once! Show him finish!
You can make all of the cool intros for the womens 100m you want but show the crap that actually matters!
Erassa would have smashed it in this race

nbc really sucks. eurosport make us look like such amateurs in terms of commentating. NBC should find replacements for 2012.
Damn thats pretty impressive, he definitely could run around 3:56-8 about now i would guess as well. Still got nothing on Webb's 3:53 though

I was watching NBC and I saw LV cross the finish line with the clock and then Lagat reached out to give him five.
Also the pace was slow enough that LV get plenty of camera time.

Somehow I doubt what some yahoo posts on here is preventing LuKas from celebrating...
Did he have his own rabbit out there? I hadn't heard this and there was a dude running right in front of him till the final lap.
He needed pros and elites to do it while Fernandez did it by himself with no one’s help, just sayin'
To the general public, LV's record is crap that doesn't matter.

How about because he was a complete non-factor in the race and was 100 meters behind the winner? Show the real race, but that being said they could have atleast mentioned his time and record after it was all said and done.
