After reading my post the point I was trying to make was not well done.
What I was trying to say is that being aware of your form while running is very important to injury prevention.
Just go to mile post 23 or so in a marathon . People are tired and their form suffers greatly . Poor form is a cause of some running injuries. Poor form typically occurs when the runner is tired and especially when the runner is tired and trying to run really fast like at the end of a hard workout or race.
On every run even slow runs I made a habit of being aware of my form. This seems to have helped me.
