Looks like KP was in a wild 1500 on Saturday.
Still playing it ez which is nice. Before the calf issues I signed up for the Pepsi Invite masters mile race at Hayward on April 7th. The plan was to build into a mini peak with Pepsi followed by Hayward Classic a month later. Calf issues have me rethinking my plan. Probably just train thru both races. Run them cautiously hard with my sights on Spokane in July . Also have cut back on my hiking and added biking which feels really good.
Week 22 March 11 about 34 minutes
- March 12 20 minutes ez tempo barefoot in the dunes
- March 15 treadmill intervals see week 20 14s for 14 minutes or so
7/7....10/4 no calf issues the rest interval was about 1 minute
30 secs R 30 seconds
60 secs R 1 minute
120 secs R 1 minute took a prolonged rest halfway thru as a precaution to stretch out my hips
went a bit longer by 5 or 10 seconds just to see how it felt.
