Hi I'm new Masters runner. I'm also recovering from a stress fracture in my femur and am husky.
This week:
Monday: Off/travel
Tuesday: 45 min pool run. I hate this more than dieting.
Wednesday: 3300 yard swim
Thursday: 75 mins exercise bike (~20 miles), then 30 min pool run (brick)
Friday: 3000 yard swim
Saturday: 1:50 for 10 miles outside run in a race. Felt awful but whatever. I finished and then had brunch.
Sunday: 45 mile bike ride outdoors in 2:45.
I managed to do 3 marathons in 6 weeks with a stress fracture last year (same stress fracture, but doctor incorrectly diagnosed it and then sent me to PT, where running and box jumps didn't help heal it.) and am in the 5:30+ crowd for marathons (depending if there's a Starbucks stop or not.).
