I saw the chiro on Monday and she worked on the hammies. The right one still has some slight tightness, but it hasn't affected my running lately. The hip flexor has greatly improved, though I'm still being cautious.
I waited a full week after my hip flexor issue before trying to jog again on Friday. After having previously built back up to 40', I thought I'd shoot for 30' this time. I probably could have made it, but the hip was getting a little achy around 25' so I shut it down. Went back out today with the same plan, but this time only got to about 20' before hopefully doing the smart thing and walking in. Unlike the hammy, this does not respond favorably to intermittent walk/jog bouts.
Anyway it's no longer sore and I'll give it another go in 48 hours after some ice and heat therapy. Golf is on hold for now as I want to make sure I can reasonably move the hips through the front-to-back plane before working them side-to-side with a golf swing.
