First week down after my two weeks active rest and it was as rough as it always is. I hated taking time off when I was younger because I never like the getting back into shape process but it was necessary.
This was challenging week mixing running, racewalking, swimming, biking and strength training all together and prepping for a our first indoor meet. I got it done and by the end of the week (today) my calf was back to near full health.

Friday Stretch and rest
Saturday 4 miles in Ithaca with some of my guys
Sunday 8 miles 1:02 no pain for the first time since October
