Dave, I didn't realize the first miles of the HM were rolling. Weren't you on the trail pretty much from the start? I know they cut out the hill up Main Street to Fluor Field and back up the other side of the river at the end but I didn't know what they added at the start to make up for it.
We actually went in the opposite direction of Greenville at the start for about 1.5 miles, then back. The 3 mile mark was near the start. I believe the last 9 miles were on the trail.

Hope to see all y'all in Michigan this summer. I know they make damn good beer in them parts. Had plenty samples in Portland and through good MI friends.

Congrats, KP! Maybe we'll see you on the line in Grand Rapids. And yes, the craft beer industry is booming in MI. No shortage of pubs to sample...
Had a nice kind of down week. About 45 miles, tons of driving, walking, biking and eating. Sat & Sun I got in two steady 10 milers over rolling hills in Greenville, Took yesterday off after getting home at 8pm...
Ready to start into Tinmans 6 month training plan. Actually feeling pretty good these days. Trimmed my race schedule in half, running mostly quality 5k races and a good chance of running the Tracks Champs in Grand Rapids.
See you on the roads,
Dave
