Hello 50+ers.
Training for a 3rd half marathon here. I've had some really solid 11 mile hilly runs backed by runs in the 7 - 8 mile range.
This week at the beach, and doing intervals on the beach as I love to do. An interruption to the 1/2 training with the race a month off. I'll be able to do a couple more weeks of long runs after the beach, then taper.
This 1/2 will be at 5000 ft. -- I'll be fit but not worrying about time too much.
Life is hectic with a ten year old, and a 14 year old kid (and I'm 59 in a month!). Yeah, I waited to be a dad. Anyway, I guess that is my excuse for not posting more often... family life chews up all available time! No complaints, I went in with eyes open!
