Who will make the world team? I think the mens 1500/5000/10000 and womens 800/1500 will be most exciting.
I suppose Pre and the Adidas Classic will be the biggest indicators. Anyone care to make some early predictions?

Is Ritz secretly training? I ready is was still only running on the alter g after recovering for surgery that turned out to be unnecessary in the first place.
I predict the steeplechase barriers will be placed at the correct height.
Mens 800 could be interesting too. I pretty much agree with your predictions although I would pick Alysia Johnson over Vessey or Schmidt. Phoebe Wright could have a shot too in the 800
I think Boston sucks nutsacks as a place to live. That's all I can say from looking at this thread.
We don't really know who is going to run what yet, do we? I think Solinsky will qualify in whichever he runs in, the 5 or 10. Lagat will qualify in the 5000 and also in the 1500 if he runs it. Wheating could qualify in the 800 or the 1500.
If I had to guess now:
800
Symmonds
Andrews
Primm
1500
Wheating
Lomong
Centrowitz
5000
Lagat
Bethke
Teg
10,000
Solinsky
Rupp
Nelson
Bill's guesses look pretty good for the women.
Mens:
1500: Wheating, Centrowitz, Torrence
5000: Solinsky, Lagat, Bumbalough
10000: Rupp, Nelson, Curtis
1500
LAMONG, WHEATING, MANZANO
5000
LAGAT, SOLINSKY, BUMBALOUGH
10,000
RUPP, CURTIS, NELSON
STEEPLE
NELSON, BRUCE, HULING
So based on Pre, any changes to predictions?
I'm not so sure about Rupp qualifying now.. What if the, ahem, pollen is too high again?
Mens 800- surprised at the result here. Expected Symmonds and Wheating to do much better here.
1500- Lagat should be good for this unless hes planning on running the 5k
The women are very hard to call at this point.
800- fast but nothing special from the US women except Geena Gall breaking 2 for the first time.
1500 is harder to call still. Only one who made an impact was Morgan Uceny who is planning on running the 1500 at USAs even though I personally would think she would have a better shot at the 800. Christin Wurth Thomas: No idea what happened there. Looked like she was ready to pounce but got caught up
I'm gonna wait and see what happens in NY
I think I'd change my prediction to have Teg in there somewhere. If he runs the 5000, drop Bumbalough. If he runs the 10,000, drop Curtis (even though Curtis beat him last race, it was Teg's first 10k and he seems to have sharpened up since then).
Have you been on Pluto? Lagat has said numerous times that he is running the 5k.
Manzano has 4:14, 3:38, and DNF for this outdoor season.
Will Wheating go 800 or 1500 or both at USAs?
Teg is 2-2 against his younger teammate this season. Who will win the tiebreaker at USAs - Teg or Bumbi?
How bad is Solinsky's hamstring...and Rupp's allergies for that matter?
The guys who seem to be doing great are Lagat (no surprise) and KD.
Jeremy Warriner will fail to make the open 400 for WC's. You heard it here first!

Would you really put Vessey ahead of Montano (Johnson)?
800m: Khadevis Robinson, Nick Symmonds, Cory Primm
1500m: Russell Brown, Andrew Wheating, Leonel Manzano
5000m: Bernard Lagat, Chris Solinsky, Andrew Bumbalough
10000m: Galen Rupp, Matt Tegenkamp, Robert Curtis
In that order.
I don't know anything about the steeple.
800m - Symmonds, KD, Robby Andrews
1500m - Wheating, Lomong, Torrance
If I were anyone running against solinsky I would change paces a ton. He wont make it if someone puts him through that.

I have confidence in my kick.
Why the heck does everyone think Bumbalough can beat Teg?
800
Symmonds
Robinson
Primm
1500
Wheating
Brown
Manzano
5k
Lagat
Solinksy
Teg
10k
Rupp
Ritz?
