What was Bolt´s time from last year?!
Bolt ran 14.35 WR.
Gay may well be in 19.6x shape in May!

He's only about 80% healthy (hip abductor...again), but ran .16 off Bolt's record in bad weather.
How fast can he go if he gets healthy?
Ok! job well done by Tyson Gay but lets break down the race in comparison to Usain Bolt's 150m
slipped @ start of race plus it was raining and last but not least what was the temp again? away back to the race
50- 5.64
100- 9.90
150- 14.35
8.71 from 50 to 150
now you tell me........
Exactly. Bolt's 100 was in bad weather AND he was involved in a car accident just a few short weeks prior that resulted in stitches to his feet AND he went out and ran 14.35. So for me Bolt's time is more impressive.
I still remember how a few years ago there was an article written about him that replaced his name with the word "homosexual". Classic/funny.
Very good time for mid-May. I hope he's 100% when it counts!

Where were the cool rain coming down in Bolt's? Conditions were better in 2009 and he hadn't missed a month. I don't think Bolt was off training more than 10 days.
w/sub 45 strength, gay can close a track 200m very fast, so he has to be taken seriously as a contender for the American record in the 200m this year.
The funniest thing about Tyson Gay fans are that they honestly believe that he is in the same league as Usain Bolt. So let me get this right Tyson Gay is a 19.3x 200m runner now! huh? The most interesting thing about this statement is that I haven't heard anyone mention the word Tyson or Gay in the same sentence with 200m's(not the straight away)since summer of 08'....All of sudden he has 19.3x abilities...ok buddy I'll be looking for that time from him this year, but do me one favor please stop with the Tyson Gay excuses about percentage of his health, groin, running on 1 leg,"It's barely hanging on" etc...yuh dig!!!!!!!!!!
JUST RUN

Of course he can run 19.3 or better when healthy or fit. He's run 9.69 and 44.89. He ran 19.58 for his first 200m of 2009 (and his only one before his groin flared up), and you don't think he was just getting into his groove? He had two weeks of no training in the middle of the summer and still ran 9.71 and 9.69. And he's a better 200m runner than a 100m runner, as evidenced by his 400m.

There was a time when I knew nothing about the sport as well. Give it time, you'll gain those valuable experiences that us adults have in due time.
Gay holds the true world records (not SARMS or HGH aided) for the 100 and 200. I'd say he's a pretty good athlete.

Please post top 25 from your list or link it. Thanks
'He's only about 80% healthy'
If that was the case he would be running 17 seconds!
Be interesting to see what Bolt can do after bit of a lay off
As far as I am concerned Tyson Gay is good for the sport. His spirit and motivation to catch up is really great and just give the fans the excitement they want, but the bottom line is he is still number two!
He can beat Bolt anytime Bolt gets sloppy, but if he can't get the records Bolt will still be the fastest man.
Bitter truth!
Anyone who follows professional sprinting knows that a 100% Tyson Gay will at least give Bolt a run for his money.
Having read about Gay's injury issues and how much training he's missed, I'm amazed he he's still running such high caliber times. I really hope he can stay healthy. Whether he beats Bolt or not, he's elevating the sport, because no way can Bolt afford to slack with Gay in the race.
