Duncan Phillips (Arkansas) - 3:39.87

Dumisane Hlalselo (Florida) - 3:40.66

Fred Samoei (Alabama) - 3:41.61

Dorian Ulrey (Arkansas) - 3:42.76

Julius Bor (Alabama) - 3:43.90

Thomas Cattin-Masson (Arkansas) - 3:45.11

This field is going to be absolutely stacked! Hlalselo outkicked Phillips indoors by about a tenth of a second...does he repeat? Does Phillips/Ulrey go 1-2 for the Hogs? Will Fred Samoei even run when he has the 800 final about an hour later?

THOUGHTS??? This is going to be an insane race (hopefully)!

Fred does not run for Alabama in Cross Country but he will double in the 800/1500 at the SEC! This assertion is plainly stupid. The better question would be - Does Fred do 800 or 1500. Ulrey is the class of the field, time lists mean shit when a 3:35 guy is in the race. Ulrey made the World Champs in 2009, he is alway the favorite in any SEC race, 2009 & 2010 Indoor SEC Champion Mile and 3k, 2009 -1500m SEC Champion and 3rd in the NCAA. If Ulrey does not win the race, Bucknam should retire as Bucknam has absolutely develope NO ONE ELSE. Phillips was inherited and in 5 years has improved but is nothing really more than a 800m and 1500m Time Trialist, NOT A RACER! Besides Ulrey may be the only Razorback outside the Multis that can win an Individual title so Arkansas hopes to not repeat at a tie for 6th or 7th or whatever (tie the worse performance in Arakansas history) - Ulrey's win is needed.

Predictions:

1. Ulrey 3:41.18

2. Gator 3:42.04

3. Phillips 3:42.06

Fred wins the 800m.

I thought fred was injured this year during cross season, that is why he didnt run cross. He finised 45th at the 2009 NCAA cross championship and ran cross both years in Junior College.

Why hasn't Alan Sticker from LSU come up? He's scored a point or two in 4 of the last 5 indoor/outdoor SEC meets. He's a lock to win this weekend.

You must be his teammate or something. No chance in hell. he was 7th indoors and that was WITHOUT Ulrey. Quit sucking your teammate off. He's solid but not a big player.

Ulrey has best pr. Hlaselo from Florida has run 3:40 this year. His Gator profile says he has a pr of 3:38, which he ran as a junior in Africa. He also won indoors. However, pr's mean nothing in a championship race. Should be a good race.

It looks like Hlalselo and Samoei are out...so Phillips and Ulrey should easily go 1-2. Why isn't Hlalselo entered? Is he going to do 800/5k or something weird like that?
