any predictions for the 5k or 10k? Loaded races on the college and pro level. Should be a good race.

27:51 - Some Mexican guy
Chris Solinsky for a new AR!!!!
Those fields are pretty darn good. Here are my predictions:
Mens 800m: Kevin Hicks
Mens 1,500m: Lopez Lomong
Mens Steeple: Ben Bruce
Mens 5k: Chris Derrick
Mens 10k: Chris Solinsky
It'll be fun to see Jager back racing, see how Teg does in the 1,500 and how the Stanford guys run in the 5k. Will Fernandez run?
acosta over GF if in the same race
1500m : Lopez Lomong
5000m : Craig Mottram
10 000m : Bouabdellah Tahri
99 and 86 entries in the 5k and 10k.... 4-5 heats each?
Hey Geniuses, Solinsky is rabbiting the 10k for Nelson, not racing it himself.
Nelson will dominate the 10k. Braun will be second.
Cheseret will run 27:50 or faster in 10k.
bob tahri will win.
and it will be such a big upset that it will be compared to buster douglas beating mike tyson and the USA hockey team beating russia and then finland to win GOLD at the 1980 winter olympics.
These are the guys I'll mostly be cheering for:
800m- S. Webb
1500m- Fernandez
5000m- Huling
10000m- St. Lawerence
Steeple- Bruce
lenny korir of iona ftw in the 10k
From Twitter: ChrisSolinsky: Been a long day & am looking forward to hitting the sheets. Gotta big weekend coming. I gotta be on point for teammates in my pacing duties

I don't understand why they keep having Fernandez run the 1500. Time to change it up and try a 5,000, where he's always run well. His HS coach said he was capable of a 13:16 his freshman year, as he clearly thought GF was destined to excel in that event.
The 5,000 looks good. Maybe Cragg and Mottram will pull a couple collegians under 13:20. The question is who gets to be in their heat. Anyone have that info? I have my eye on Diego Estrada. He seems primed for a big PR. Also rooting for Chris Derrick, who is overdue for a PR. There's many others who could have a breakthrough race.
Solinsky will win in under 27:20. Teg is the pacer and letsrun got punked!
