Seed time.
Looks like he got third, not second. Was bumped from the second heat. And by the way, how does Mason seed their heats? Looks like lots of guys entered with legit marks from the second heat got left out of the first?

Looks like two evenly matched heats seeded randomly.

That's right. That way noone gets their feelings hurt. Everyone got a medal, too!!
They did not allow unattached runners in the first heat.
Is another 1:49 considered a moderate success for robby? I guess I was hoping for a smokin time too early on.
This kid is DONE.

HAHA. You are an absolute idiot.
They went out slow.
Good to see avoiding confrontation at GMU there
In this race (he is just coming back and running quite well for that), he ran slowly by his standard because he did not try to force the pace. He is already a great kicker, as evidenced by his victory over Wheating. As he develops, I'd like to see him take it out hard in the first lap on this level, or at least avoid the sit and kick style that has to this point held back the top times of guys like Symmonds and Wheating (at 800m). You have to take some risks at this level if you are going to compete for the win at big meets as a pro.

Actually it indicates the finish place within each heat.
