Did you see that last 200m?
Did you see that last 200m?
absolutely unreal
yeah that was something else, the man is in shape.
solid runs by sambu, korir, ahmed, and darling.
colby lowe a bit behind, seems like most osu guys arent running fast lately, but that might be a good thing - looking at the big picture.
he dropped his head and was GONE!
Flotrack announcer: "He's making Lenny Korir look like he's 12 years old!"
It reminded me of that video of Michael Stember destroying a high school field with a crazy kick.
Looked like Yifter out there...dropped Korir et al like they were Kip Litton and Dean K. Great week for the Heath Bros.
Seriously, did no one watch this race? How is this not the hottest topic on the board right now?
The time was faster than I thought, too.

A ridiculous kick.
I don't know if any 5k'er can hang within 2 seconds of that off of that pace in the NCAA.
Unreal.
What race was this?
Kid could have gone sub 13:30 if he wasn't sandbagging. Plenty of juice left in the end. I like the Heath brothers - strong guys from the midwest. Guess all those cold winters toughens the spirit.
Elliot Heath could be the next US superstar in the 1500/5000!
A 17 year old Kenyan kid ran 12:53 yesterday.
A stunner indeed, but 18 years old actually, according to reported Dec. 1992 birthdate.
minnesota ftw
Too bad they're ugly as sin.
BALLERNESS.

...so still American High School age.
Stanford seems to peak their guys early - in cross and track. I'd love to see Heath run 13:20 with a ridiculous kick in 2-3 months but I have a sneaking suspicion he might be slower than he was today.

Apples and Oranges here! Half the Kenyan boy population can break 14 at 5K by the age of 16. Let's see how they match up in a few years! LOL
