Informed local sources indicate that NZrun.com and Hayden McLaren have agreed to split the cost of Rupp, Salazar, and pacemaker accommodation at his Christchurch home.
top competition is expected from the top runners from australia and new zealand lol.
When you're feeling it, go for it.
Seems far enough away so that big meanie Chris Sol-Train Solinsky can't step on the track with him for anymore glorified tempo runs.
i just want to see how dusseldorf goes for rupp on february 13th, rupp could get the american indoor 5k record, as he has at least 3 excellent runners in paul koech, d. komen and eliud kipchoge.
Maybe it's just me, but I didn't see a mention of an attempt on the AR in that article.

Ah, but that's where you're wrong, as the link says at the bottom that Teg and Solinsky are running a 5000m in Australia. Prolly both will be "crossing the Tasman" to jump in for the tempo and sprint to the 10000m AR.
It's just you. He is going for it.
You don't fly all the way to NZ not to go for it.
Heck, I don't think he would run a 10k and not go for it, unless it was a championship race of course
wouldn't make sense to try to for it at stanford in march where the weather will be perfect
I'd like to see rupp, ritz, hall, lagat, webb, moran, solinsky, curtis, rohatinsky, stragg, carney, jenkins and some other fast americans all in the same race
Wow, almost 2.5 years later, and Willis still hasn't gotten his silver medal from Beijing.

The 2nd Stanford meet is usually the faster one.
Sure Rupp could get a rabbit and try and go for it solo at the 1st Stanford meet but Alberto said the plan is to have a distinct indoor season, time off, then an outdoor season. If Rupp's "indoor season" goes to March and then he takes time off, he may not be ready for nationals.
Hey, I've got an idea Team Alberto. Why don't you do it first and then talk about it afterwards? I'm really getting tired of hearing how so and so is going to do such and such at this or that venue. Shut the f--- up and run ... and finish ... the damn race. They should all be embarrassed.
Solinsky should just follow Rupp around to every meet he tries the 10k and just keep beating him so he can have that record.

You're an f'tard. He should do the exact opposite of what you suggest. We all want to know when an AR attempt is going down. You'd have to be an idiot to not want to know, which you clearly are. F'tard.
... Actually, you moron, Salazar didn't say anything about an AR.
If you don't want him to talk about it, have the press stop asking him about it.
Word on the street is Galen is aiming for the AR. Seems Al Sal is acting prudently by not hyping it. Lets be honest, if Galen is fit why wouldn't he have the 10k record on his mind? He is traveling that far for a reason!

Why do people always say s**t like this? It isn't going to happen. Absolute zero probability. And none of the folks listed give it so much as one second's thought. Same thing with sending an American "Dream Team" to world cross. Nice idea, but so what? Aint gonna happen. Just makes you sound like a twelve year old who doesn't understand what the heck is going on.
