A lot of current and former NFL players think he wussed out.

Cutler has always had a reputation as moody and self-centered. Some were openly cautious of this prior to the draft and it obviously played out when Denver dumped him the first chance they got, not that McDaniel wasn't part of the problem too. His quitting is not a surprise to me, However, I can't imagine someone at that level would not play if capable.

Nobody takes that guy seriously. Try again.
Heck yes he quit. Big Ben could barely walk when he took that shot to his hip. Did you see him quit?
Cutler is a sissy. He should be playing badmitton instead of football.

Maurice Jones-Drew, Ross Tucker and Kirk Morrison. There were a few others too.

It had quotes from players. Try to deflect again. Or, you could just give up like your boy Cutler.

Brian Urlacher, precisely because he's a great teammate, passionately defended Cutler's toughness in his postgame news conference, answering a question about the issue by saying, "Jay was hurt. I don't question his toughness. He doesn't bitch and complain when he gets hit."
Wilbon is usually right but I will wait til the MRI.The Packers were better and that it is painful to say. The Packers ran the ball on the Bears which I was not expecting. The game could have been 28-0 at half. Life goes on..The sun came up in the east and will set in the west.I did not play in the game but I am still a Chicago sports fan including the Bears.
If you tore your MCL or ACL could you run a marathon?
or would you take a DNF to run another day?
Dilfer called him out on tv. Aikman said during the game that he could tell from Cutler's body language that he quit.
They know just a tad bit more about football than you do.
Cutler quit. No mas.

He NEVER said that.

does not in any way mean they know what is going on in cutlers knee...
My biggest issue that, even if he was too hurt to play, he completely disengaged with his team and the game. He sat on the sidelines like he had no interest in what was happening. He still could have tried to keep up his team's spirits, by being a leader on the sidelines.
But he didn't do it.
Anyone who questions his toughness is a moron.
Did any of those people see him stand in there in the Giants game and nearly get killed due to that shitty O-line?
The shame of it is he is taking the biggest hit, while another choking boneheaded performance by Lovie Smith gets glossed over.
What coach in their right mind would send Todd Collins out there in a game like this. Did you see how lost and scared he looked? How in the hell could you not detect that in practice?
That end around on 3rd and 5. WTF was that, especially coming off a time out?
Why would you give the hottest QB in the NFL the ball right away, then your defense comes out flat?
What about passing up a 49 yard FG, and only gaining 11 yards in field position.
Cutler is the least of the Bears problems.
Smith does this all the time, coaches just well enough to save his job, always out coached in a big game, never to win it all.
Now the Bears are likely stuck with a mediocre coach and more years of mediocre play, with the occasional playoff run due to luck.

Those weren't quotes. They were tweets.

check, who?, who?
I do not understand why he continued to walk around the sideline the entire 4 quarter. I think with a serious knee injury that he would at least sit down.

I counted 5 in that article you mentioned. That's "a lot"?
Wilbon still writes? Link?
