Good question. At one time the paper did run an article mentioning Kip
https://www.google.com/search?q=site%3Avancouversun.com+kip+litton
but mention of him appears to have been since redacted:

They probably did some actual analysis of the "evidence" and realized the claims of Dr. Litton's cheating are not based in fact.
A reminder to visit http://worldrecordrun.com/ for all of the latest Kip Litton running news.
There is no mystery, except to Scott H. and a few others.
He started in the back of the pack. Those people would never see him again, even after the race.
He got off and changed his clothes, amazing!!!!
He got back on the course when no one was looking and started running again.
How? A Bike, a car, a friend's help...it doesn't mater how. He didn't use a rocket or invisible powers so what other way is there?
He finishes and then vacates the area within a certain amount of time.
He was walking on the side of the road at Boston, walking. But somehow his times didn't reflect a walking pace. How? He didn't cross the chip pad until he knew what time would be even remotely close to being realistic. With all of the people there, it would not be extremely difficult.
He ran a race in Michigan with a grey shirt in the summer, hot summer, and didn't even have a sweat spot on his shirt. Yeah, probably just a coincidence, right? Oh yeah, and by the way there are photos of him near the start in the back and he's all covered up, in the summer!!!
Oscar Miranda. Rosie Ruiz. Both did the same thing, nothing different and nothing special, they cheated. The difference is that they bit off more than they could chew running impossible times with nothing to back it up.
Kip did the same thing, but on a sub 3 hour pace scale, not winning Boston our breaking a master's record at Boston by an unheard amount of time.
Answers to your wildly inaccurate questions:
He never changed any clothes. He simply shed his outer layers. Red Herring.
Those with him confirmed that he never had access to a bike or a car. Very misleading.
You say he was walking at Boston, but then waited to cross the timing mat. So he walks at 2:30 pace, then waits at the timing mat for a 2:50 time? You can't have it both ways. So much for that theory.
You are so special that you can determine the level of sweat from a photo. Congratulations.
Nice try though on your attempt to blur the truth.

And how exactly did he manage to run a 17:17 5K in downtown boston after taking over 4 minutes to cross the starting mat in a race with thousands of people in downtown Boston?
Do you really think he's running a 17:17 5K right here?

Unless "those with him" ran every step of the race with him (they didn't), they have no way of knowing what he did or didn't do at every point of the race.
To this point, there are multiple cases, in multiple races, where the participants who actually DID run in the same race reported Kip's "performance" NOT matching his claims.
Try to keep up. He cuts the course, and needs to kill time in order to not pass the split timing mat too early. No where in his dreams does he ever run a portion of a marathon at 2:30 pace. Lol. He can barely cheat a 5k at that pace!
You can't? Obviously you haven't reviewed the photos from all the top runners at the 2009 Northville Solstice 10k. It is quite obvious.
And, for bonus points: I ran that race (top 25) and there were only three people that passed me the entire race after the 1/4 mile point. None of those three were Kip. Yet somehow, Dr. Litton started at the very back of the pack, and finished ahead of me. Amazing.
You should speak for yourself. Especially since this statement sums up your entire post quite nicely.
"More Misinformation" is a very appropriate name for you. Kudos on picking it.
Pretty sure he meant that he had a change of outfit, same thing. Red Herring to you.
You lied. No one in any of those races confirmed that he never had access to a bike or a car. You lied. Name the people who said that. That's what I thought. Dead Herring.
There were pictures of him walking on the shoulder of the road at Boston. I agree with the poster's theory, not yours. He has a watch on while he runs. He knows that he has to cross certain mats. He didn't run 2:30 pace or walk it, no one said that, but you. He gets off the course and then enters back on but doesn't cross the mat until it's realistic.
"more information" will be highly confused with the above paragraph...so much for his theory.
His sweat theory is correct. Look up the race dumbshit. Solstice 10k. He was dry in a grey shirt on a hot summer race near the end. That doesn't happen.
Nice try on your attempt to not tell the truth.
If you can run a race in the summer with hot muggy conditions in a grey shirt and not show any signs of sweat, you will be the first, but we both know that won't happen as you are full of shit.
Congratulations as no one will ever accuse you of being intelligent as you sir are an idiot with no common sense.
Please remember that http://worldrecordrun.com/ is the wikipedia of Kip Litton research.
What the heck is up with this guy Litton?
Last post, that's all I wanted. Please don't anyone post again. Thank you.

Hi Kip, care to confess yet?
Ok, please stop perpetuating this hoax. It is putting undue stress on the Litton's terminally ill child.

Except that it's not a hoax.
Kip Litton cheated.
Well maybe Kip should start thinking about being an honest person for his son's sake. There's irrefutable evidence that Kip has cheated, and it's probably pretty tough for Kip's ill child to have to watch his dad lie to him and his family. If my father was in Kip's situation, I would be very disappointed. I could honestly care less about Dr. Litton's marathon cheating, but the way he denies and denies it makes me sick. That's exacly why this incident has become what it has. You got caught. Man up.I dont have time to read this whole thread, but im sure someone has said something like this at some point...

I guess the part that you are not understanding is that our dad never lied to us about anything. He never even had to defend himself because we have seen him run most all of his races with our own eyes. It is US who are defending HIM because we know it is impossible that he cheated. Unlike all the mean, terrible people here, he is an amazing dad and is even more of a hero to us now than ever before. No matter what you say, it will never change this.

Your dad may be a great guy, but When you grow up, you will understand that your dad is a cheat and a liar. He cheated in numerous races.

Hilarious! Reminds me of when Eddy's kids used to post here in the early 2000s.

Lisa and Kipling must have decided it was best to keep this a secret from the children. It's too bad the high school kid faces teasing at school for his father's wrongdoings.
