It\'s apparent we\'ve all been trolled.
That was evident many months ago. Time to ship this thread to the trolling HOF and move on.

It will be out, just not in June
In a big magazine there is lot of fact checking
Why do u think letsrun is allowing this thread to stay?
The Brojos know Scott is telling the truth
One of the Johnson brothers has talked to the writer as well

Before any article is published there is a Lot of Fact checking
Yep. And sometimes that fact checking takes over a year.
Yes indeed. You're not going to believe me, but even in June 2012 (18months after Kip's last race) interviews are still being conducted and facts are still being gathered.
Would love to see it but I am willing to bet there will never be an article.

Like Scott Hubbard said many times - you'll look very foolish soon.
I would actually be fairly happy to see an article but after all this time and promises I would be very surprised to see it.

Has it really been 18 months since this guy raced? Is the story really relevant?
insensitive wrote:Has it really been 18 months since this guy raced? Is the story really relevant?
Well yeah- He cheated for a number of years (a lot longer than 18) months, pissed off a lot of people, and denied a few their honestly earned rewards for actually training and running their races legitimately.
This story is interesting because of the controversy- folks like to argue over the most mundane things- the level of mundanity being for each individual to determine.

Have a look at the main forum page here, Runners World or anywhere on the internet and you can make exactly the same point. However this case is noteworthy for many reasons. Ultimately though if you don't like it then don't read it.

I think you're overstating it a bit there. Who are all these people he pissed off and what rewards did he deny someone else? He was just an age-grouper who could barely break 3 hours.

Maria... you ignorant slut!
Can someone bring back the guy on this thread who pretended to post as the writer? I miss him.

That's right Scott. It came out before Boston just like you said it would. LOL!
Has anyone ever seen Dr. Litton leaving a course during a marathon he finished? Does anyone possess photo or video evidence of Dr. Litton leaving or off the course of a marathon he finished?

Deadwood south Dakota I believe
Have fun
By the way, I am NOT ScottH. As you'll read in the national magazine when it comes out, I am a just a former collegiate distance runner (like a lot of folks on letsrun.com)
ScottH is cool guy....and is roughly twice my age I would guess. C'mon You think ScottH has some decent Photoshop skillz like me? The national magazine is probably making an in-house version of some of it
How bout Ouch1000? Do you think that's me? dukerdog? very disappointed? Who else?
