Dr. Litton is a great man who wouldn't even make an illegal left turn, let alone cheat thousands of people in a major race. I don't know if it's that all you losers are jealous of his career success; his racing success; or that all of your wives wish you were him, but it's really not fair to defame such a great man because of your own inadequacies.
Dr. Litton is a great man who just made some mistakes. He owes the Genessee County citizens, The Flint Journal, and Bill Khan, a letter of apology. Dr. Litton's denial has dug him into a deeper and deeper hole and has now led him to being the subject of a pending article in a national magazine. The fact is the National Magazine wouldn't risk libel if some of the accusations and disqualifications didn't hold some truth.
THE FACTs (to the best of our knowledge)
Dr. Litton was Disqualified at the following races:
1) City of Trees (Idaho) 2009
2) Missoula Marathon 2010 (Montana)
3) Delaware Marathon 2010
4) Deadwood SD Trail Marathon 2010 (South Dakota)
5) 2009 Crim 10 miler (Michigan)
6) Detroit Free Press Relay - 1st denied, then admitted must've taken a wrong turn
7) 2009 Northville, MI Solstace 10K (Michigan)
8) Marshall Univ Marathon 2010 (West Virginia)
Additional Notes: in 2010, Dr. Litton won a race listed on marathonguide.com and athlinks.com that does not exist that was called the West Wyoming Marathon. The west wyoming marathon's website was hosted at the same IP (internet protocol) address as kiplittondds.com as well as a number of local Michigan businesses along with SandySprings Half and PineHills 5K. The names of the finishers, besides Dr. Litton, all appear to be fictitious persons.
Some of the "Oddities:" (from other races)
>>>Dr. Litton took over 5 minutes to cross the starting line at Charlotte Thunder Road Marathon. 2 participants stated Dr. Litton never passed them but ended up in front of them late in the race.
>>>Dr. Litton took over 4 minutes to cross the starting line at the BAA 2010 5K, and crossed the finish in 17:17 (5:34/mi) net time wearing a blue jacket and black pants.
>>>Dr. Litton does not have splits at Go! St. Louis 2010 Marathon at 6mi or at 20mi. Dr. Litton came in 19th at this race, and all of the other finishers in the top 20 have these splits except Dr. Litton.
>>>Dr. Litton has very few photos at the 2009 BayShore Marathon, except for the final stretch before the finish line. Even the last place finishers with similar chip/gun differentials have photos showing themselves throughout the course.
>>>Dr. Litton is pictured walking during a 17:37 5K performance at a Gasparilla Distance Classic contest in 2010. Dr. Litton is still listed on wikipedia.com as the winner of the Gasparilla Distance Classic, but there is an aster ix next to his name.
Media Notes
>>>Bill Khan, former writer for the Flint Journal, published an article praising Dr. Litton's accomplishments, but later added a note that Dr. Litton's performances are under scrutiny. In light of the recent revelations, Bill Khan says today that he feels "duped" that he wrote this article.
http://blog.mlive.com/flintjournal/runners/2010/04/042510-kip-litton.html>>>Bill Khan, former writer for the Flint Journal, wrote an article praising Dr. Litton for being the top finisher at the 2010 Boston Marathon. However, Bill Khan discovered that Dr. Litton has likely cheated, thus he altered his article to highlight the next local finisher, Larry Gutierrrez of Fenton, Michigan. Dr. Litton's times are still listed at the bottom of the article, however.

Dr. Litton is a good man. We're told that he is God fearing and that he is what is right about Gennessee County. If Dr. Litton wants to manage public relations effectively, he should admit he made some mistakes in judgement, perhaps because of stressful times (we all have them) and apologize to the citizens of Genessee County Michigan, the Flint Journal, & Bill Khan, during this difficult time. He deserves our understanding and sympathy.
