Ok. But in the case we're discussing, can you explain the outfit changes and bin coverings?
There have been some interesting points here but from my own experience I have never cheated but I have been disqualified from more than several races. It depends on the reason- not all DQs are alike. I wish mine hadn't happened, but it wasn't a big deal & there is no shame. My DQs involved making wrong turns, leaving the course to take a dump and actually one time was DQd along with dozens of others who all made the same wrong turn.
We know of ONE! ;)

Has ANYONE out there changed shoes in the middle of a marathon?
Because there have been no satisfactory answers because we all know deep down there are none. As I said before, a full admission and this would have been an ancient memory.

Yes, and I suppose it was because of Kip's modesty that he regularly hides his bib number during races and skips the parts of courses where photographers are snapping pictures of everyone else who is actually running the full course.
You're assuming that's what he was doing. You have no way of knowing what Kip Litton was thinking about at the start of his races. Most likely he was thinking about how he was positively impacting the lives of all those poor children you ignore.
Oh, well I guess that clears everything up then. Thanks for setting the record straight. Lmao.

From what has been discussed locally, those who accompanied Dr. Litton on his races (mainly his wife) have all said that that these issues were addressed long ago. They provided gear changes along the course. Some of the DQs were self initiated. There may have been oddities, but nothing improper. Additionally, these issues were put to rest after several reporters interviewed Dr. Litton and others involved.
If you expect to sway those that already know otherwise, you'll have to manufacture new more believable accusations- as I said, these same old ones have already been dismissed.
I went back and read through this thread, and when I did, I was more convinced that Kip had cheated.

For those clamoring for a response, go back thru the thread. Dr Litton has responded quite a while ago in lengthy interviews with several reporters, one of whom I know personally. Most of the clothing changes were not really that, but rather just the removal of outer layers. This is why bibs weren't pinned to outer layers. When he found himself close to the start time with trainers on, he switched back to race shoes- this only happened a couple times. Neither of these are rule breakers. From photographer interviews it was revealed that pics are not necessarily snapped when a bib isn't showing.
Actually, it did happen. Did you read the book Running for the Hansons by Sage Canaday? Kip Litton is mentioned.

If Dr Litton cheats, there is at least one writer who will publish a piece about it. Thus far, it just hasn't happened yet.
