A friend of mine sent me this link.
He thinks the thing has already been built. Pretty crazy:

Some of the pics look photoshopped. Click the link and click 5 times on the right arrow.
Pretty cool but poor design. The hill should have been on the inside of the curve so that it would be the same distance around on the flat track versus the hill loop.

It would have to be a ridiculously steep hill to accomplish that.
Of course the [ics are photoshopped you moron. Did you not read Wejo's post? Basic reading comprehension indicates that these are concept drawings however, the real thing *may* have been built.
Forget about the track...did you see that guy in the gray shirt dust that doofus in the aqua-marine shirt! Looks like he even did a little trash talking as he went by.
Hey Wejo,
I've been emailing you guys about the D1 prediction contest prize since Sunday like you asked me to, but I haven't gotten a response. What gives?

Of course? Why would one need to photoshop something that has already been built? The track was built in 2010.
Why on earth would they build something like that boggles the mind. What purpose does it serve?

It is kinda cool.

Agreed. But I guess in in the context that Spain produced Dali, Gaudi, and Picasso, it makes sense.
I'm all for innovations on the track, but I wouldn't lump this in the cool category. The hill looks big enough to be annoying, but too small to provide a real hill workout.
I don't see what purpose it would serve.

Uh oh.
First of all, probably not a lot of people get to run hills otherwise because many of the people that go to the track don't even run on the roads. It looks like it could be quite useful. Plus, they have stands in between the hill and the regular track, so it's combining the stands with another feature. Looks interesting, is that in LA?

"is that in LA?"
Can any of you f***ing idiots read, for christssakes? It is in Spain. It was built this year.

I have this image in my head of Dr. Cox berating JD.
All three runners in this family agree that we'd race on it in a heartbeat. Even though the times would suck, it would be really cool to race on. Consider the tactics.

The f***ing photos are real. It's your f***ing brain that's been photoshopped.
Google earth images aren't current enough, but the track is located at 38.488213,-0.794685

According to Google Earth, the imagery date for that area was August 16th, 2002. So, yeah, not even close.
