It's not crazy slow either. Straight shot off the gun and a left across the track. Most turns are winding, not tight turn arounds or 90 degree turns. It's fast, so I don't know what Nick Rockford is talking about. I pr'd by 22 seconds and was top 10 in 2000.So I was there when Dathan ran 14:10, the same course that he ran 14:35 on the year before. He went by 2 miles in 8:58 and there is video of it somewhere...it's a fast course. If there's anything that someone would consider a hill, I must have slept thru it. So yes, accurate, very accurate, but also very fast. 14:10 is probably the all-time cross country fastest time unless Prefontaine beat it.

I am from Rockford and ran on the XC team 2013 and 2014. Dathan also went to Rockford. My Senior year we went to state and won. The course is a solid course, but is not crazy fast. As far as I know he has the fastest high school XC time.
