2:18:40 or so. There was also a HS relay made up of mostly good local boys and a couple of girls who, if the winner beat them, he got extra money. The relay got third, so James had a decent payday.

Congrats Jaguar1
Spoke with his coach before the race. He said James would win by just enough. He called it.
Dallas Morning News now has a story up on the race.
He pulled away in the last mile to get the win.

Congratulations, James!
May I ask how fast you run your easy/endurance runs?
lol jaguar1 is not a 2.18 kenyan.
What the hell happened to the original thread about Jaguar1 winning the Dallas White Rock women's race? Congrats to Kirwa and Jag.
I asked his coach about his training. He does a ten day period and is not based on the week period most coaches do. I asked him to send me information because I would like to learn more about this programme. I guess it works.

Yeah, he needed to run 25 seconds faster to beat my equivalent time (2:18:13). I would have fought tooth and nail with James for the win. ;)
Rojo,
Jaguar1 was the first place FEMALE. You should fix the link on the front page.
Great Job. Are you still running for Indiana Elite?
At first when I saw the frontpage I thought you had broken the AR.
