good race by her
She has been running AWESOME the last year! When this current crop of 5k/10k runners moves up to the marathon (Huddle, Koll etc), USA could get a pretty strong team...
Don't rush Koll into the marathon just yet

Her training buddy SF tweeted she is going to be an amazing marathoner. She is weak in the kick but is a very good pace racer.. just what you need to go the 26.. In palo alto both times she set records she ran her splits right on.
I would like to see what she could do in the half.
Congratulations DESI we love you, 2:26 is ballin outta control

These folks are so lucky to have someone like the Hansons supporting them financially so they can really go for it.
She is not lucky. She earned it.

Ahhh, but don't forget that "luck" is when preparedness meets opportunity. She did the work to get there, and definitely earned the opportunity.
top 12 all time american...I would say that is pretty good
"I find the harder I work the more luck I seem to have"
Who said that again?
I am pretty sure it's top four all time American with the eighth fastest time by an American. Aside from Deena, Joanie, and Kara Goucher, who has run faster?
Kastor
JBS
Goucher
Davila
Lewy-Boulet
Brown
Jones
Runyan
Larrieu
Catalano Dillon
He didn't mean (or say, if you read the post) she was lucky to run that fast, of course that came from hard work. She is lucky to have someone like the Hansons supporting her before she was this fast, so that she could become a stud.
But is she a good interview???
