Flanagan is an amazing athlete that has done everything on the domestic front.
Finally we have an american facing a quality field on home soil. It rarely happens
Defar did not have a particularly strong season.. but when healthy this will not be even close. (i.e. flanagan will be a minute or more behind).
But given defars sub par performance and unproven half marathon experience this could be close.
If defar is healthy? I expect that she will just follow and blast the last 100 meters? but she better be careful with flanagan.
I also think that kidane is no joke - she has produced 31:18 this year. She will factor.
