I have never been a heel striker in my life but my last few races I have noticed from pictures of me racing that I am seriously on my heels. I have run my best times striking normally on my mid-foot (14:44 5k, 66 half marathon, 1:20:00 25k) but now it seems my stride has changed. I am training for a marathon and my legs are pretty tired from all the miles but I need to get back on my toes. Does anyone know something I can do to get my normal fast foot strike back? I was thinking of running some strides in spikes to get me up on my toes again? Drills? Happy feet? Jumping rope? Does anyone have experience with this and can help me?
