They seem pretty much the same to me. Maybe the cell phone guy "Young Owner" knows?

Droid X. Go to engadget.com and they'll tell you the differences. Apparently it's not even a contest.
droid 2 has a physical keyboard and longer battery life.
droid x has a bigger screen and a better camera.
that's really the only difference.
Well, your obviously on verizon so my suggestion is neither and go with the Droid Incredible. The sense UI is alot better than the motoblur, the processor is as faster or faster, doesn't weight ten pounds, and in my opinion is the best phone verizon has to offer. Plus read the reviews on it and you will see the same thing unless you want a physical keyboard and your only answer really is the droid 2
Our office has been converting to Droid phones gradually, and everybody who's getting ready to get their new phone next checks out all the other phones people are already using, which include:
Droid
Droid 2
Incredible
Droid X
By far the most popular is the Droid X, both among people who actually use the phones, and non-users who are trying them all out. Second most popular is the Incredible. The Droid and Droid 2 are both thicker and much heavier due to the slide-out keyboard, which doesn't add much, unless you're constantly typing on the thing.
I have a Droid X and the only drawback is, it's big. But the biggest selling point is, the screen is huge, and you can't have the huge screen without an exceptionally large case. It's pretty thing, actually, but wide and tall.
The only phone I'd rather have is an iPhone, and I can't do that because we have Verizon.
I'd say you can't go wrong with a Droid X or an Incredible, depending on your preference for the size (I don't like the HTC version of the interface, but some people prefer it), but I'd definitely choose one of these over the Droid 2.
Actually, I do have some input, these are the phones that I sell (unless you're one of the three I listed off in my last thread).
Droid X - Huge. I hate it for this reason, I carry my phone in my pocket. It is designed to be a phone you watch movies/videos on. Will you be doing this?
Droid Incredible - This is my second favorite Droid. Perhaps your best option if you don't mind not having a physical Keyboard.
Droid 2 - Kind of clunky. Great if you want a physical keyboard, I also do rather like Motorola.
Droid Galaxy S - Currently sitting beneath my feet, but I (Verizon) is unable to sell it until tomorrow. This is your best bet. It is a beautiful phone. Good size. Amazing. Wait until tomorrow and get this one unless you MUST have a Physical Keyboard (In which case, go with the Droid 2).
So this is how you rank them. Wait for the Samsung, but if you need the physical keyboard get the Droid 2. The Droid X is great, but the screen size (it's selling point) is too big for your tastes. Do I have that right?
FIRST CHOICE Droid Galaxy S - Currently sitting beneath my feet, but I (Verizon) is unable to sell it until tomorrow. This is your best bet. It is a beautiful phone. Good size. Amazing. Wait until tomorrow and get this one unless you MUST have a Physical Keyboard (In which case, go with the Droid 2).
SECOND CHOICE Droid Incredible - This is my second favorite Droid. Perhaps your best option if you don't mind not having a physical Keyboard.
THIRD CHOICE Droid 2 - Kind of clunky. Great if you want a physical keyboard, I also do rather like Motorola.
FOURTH CHOICE Droid X - Huge. I hate it for this reason, I carry my phone in my pocket. It is designed to be a phone you watch movies/videos on. Will you be doing this?
Sorry, I'll make it easier.
If you want a keyboard, go with the Droid 2 (as opposed to the original Droid or the the Ally)
If you don't need a keyboard, Go with the Samsung Galaxy (It's technically called the "Fascinate").
The Samsung Galaxy might be a little big even and if so, go with the Incredible.
My understanding is that with the Galaxy you are completely locked into bing as your search engine with no other options. I think this will be a deal breaker for some.
Also, any of these phones global? I want an android phone but when I travel abroad with my global blackberry I can make and receive calls just as I am in the U.S. without doing anything different. This is critical for me.

Why would you recommend the Samsung if you are stuck with Bing? BING?
