After reading that article on Wheating two years ago, he ran 5:00 as a sophomore and 14:55 as a senior. How did he do it?

Wheating go from 5:00 to 14:55 purely through the power of hate.
"How did he went"?
i say you he dead
i did a lot trained i bet
Training.
Step one:
He picked the right grandparents.
Step two:
He trained a little.
Talent is a wonderful thing. Or so I'm told.
They should have put on a track meet today in the Fitchburg,Ma area, Wheating was up there at a wedding, along with Rupp, Trafeh, Wall, Chapa, McGrath, Willard, Follmar, both Trotter twins, lambie, McCurdy, Centrowitz.
Forgot, Russell Brown and Theresa McWalters were also there along with others.
I reading that article 2 week ago also, he run 5:00, then he turn within and, run 14:55 as senor. He do it and do it and do it like he do it.
did run it? - yes hows? well maybe know
I went from a 5:20 miler freshman year, 4:57 miler soph year, 4:35 miler junior year, and then 4:25 miler senior year. I'm untalented, unlike wheating. My XC progression went like: 19:17 freshman year, 18:15 soph year, 16:30-17:15 junior year, and senior year was 15:57. Imagine someone like wheating who is amazinginly talented. His progression would obviously be a lot better than mine. So for me, some who had to work hard to make up for a lack of talent, I can see how Wheating went from 5:00 - 4:30 miler - ~4:10/14:55

what you say I hear dirty word?: what you say is you do you do. Laugh. we say what we do is what you do, what you say was not, but it is.
Letsrun.com has finally gone full-blown retarded.
5:00 is very slow for someone as talented as Wheating. He must have had an unbelievably low fitness level at the time he ran that.
i nominate this thread for having more drunks on it than the 100 miles 100 beers thread

I'll tell you up front and centerwise, man to man, you need to, mind, your own god flipping, business!!! MIND YOUR OWN BUSINESS! Mind your own business.
Mind your own god damned business.
All you sideways profiling muckity mucks have gotten too much play in the land planting arena and now it's high time for you, yes YOU, to eat your own dessert. NOT someone else's cake or candy apple corn sandwiches..YUM!!! You think you can boast of your plans to build a cabin out of bacon and assume that I, a log salesman, will just sit back idly by and not do a god damned thing about it? Well you're wrong as day if you are thinking that. Are you thinking that? If you're thing that, then stop it, stop it right now, STOP THINKING THAT!!! Are we crystal here chief?
He done it by tripling his endurance.
He grew.
