what are some nice running pants that I could get? I'm looking for something that'd keep me warm in the winter; something that's comfortable enough for me to do a longer run in (~10-13 miles); and something with tapered legs.
Is the nike perfect track pant good?

Track Pants are a fashion MUST. they go with anything, and the ladies love them. I recommend the base level adidas, they are function yet sassy/sleek.

just wear tights, they keep you warm and you can show your package off to all the ladies
I agree with using tights. If you feel uncomfortable with--ahem--everything being shown, wear your running shorts OVER the tights.
But, remember, you can run in shorts until it gets pretty cold. I will simply wear compression shorts UNDER my running shorts as an extra layer.
Experiment & see what your threshold for cold weather is.
You see people who can run in shorts & a shirt even in the snow! Sometimes gloves & a hat can help manage the cold.
Track pants are pretty awful.
i want some swishy track pants circa 1996 like all of the cool europeans wear to the clubs that way all the ladies can hear me and also see me coming. Any one know who still sells these?
Try the Asics Aptitude. They are semi-fitted. I really like my pair and they are reasonably priced.
