The doctors, who were world-reknowned experts in human physiology, were floored! "He just might be the next step in human running evolution", said one. He actually lowered his lactic acid as the pace increased!

And they were completely floored when they did this study on Lance Armstrong and any other world champion.
Does nobody pay attention to Bodys of work anymore?
have you ever gone to a hospital and had your heart rate taken and they think you are about to die because your resting rate is below 50? same thing.
These aren't your regular doctor. These are experts on physiology that have studied soemof the fittest athletes on earth. Dean K is like nothing they have ever seen, at least that's what they said. Where are all the haters now? chirp chip go the crickets.
i know daniel's not a physiologist, so i don't fault him, but the commentary he is providing is extremely scientifically inaccurate.
props to dean he gets a lot done. 90 miles is no joke. but um, yeah, the treadmill test, you work harder to run at a more uncomfortable pace, it's metabolically expensive. you run a little faster, you get more economical until you hit the curve again.
He went 80 miles in their 12 hour test.
I would have beaten by a marathon.
i see this guys name a lot, i am a skeptic, when/if this guy runs a fast marathon at least sub 2:07 minimum then i would be impressed. to me he is just some jogger who uses running as his gimmick, i would bet worknesh kidane a girl with no marathon experience could beat him in her debut.

2/10 decent trolling.
Haha, I love the quote from the host after running 40 minutes at what looks like around 8-9min pace:
"...and my heart rate was over 200 beats per minute consistently..."
...and Tyson Gay was trying his hardest against Shaq in that relay.
Right, these are experts on Stan Lee's Superhuman TV series. Stan is a comic book genius; Ironman, Fantastic Four, Spiderman, X-Men, Incredible Hulk.
This is all about "the show." It's nothing more than that.
The other episodes of the show have been good entertainment.
The guy diving into 1 foot of water from 10 meters was impressive, as was the guy sitting sauna for 8 minutes as it warmed up to 250 degrees F.

I see this Solinsky guys name alot, but until he runs sub 10 for the 100 meters I will be impressed.

These are doctors from Berkeley, not from a comic book.
"Do you have any advice for Dean?"
"Pushing your body to that extreme could be dangerous or even fatal."
lmao.
I'm pretty surprised at how far the other guy made it since he looked like he'd never even walked more than 400m in his life.
Who wins in a 2000m race, Jashaun Augusto or Dean Karnazes?

So you think they worked on the show for free? You don't know doctors very well.
