Don't know if you read their week in review after Euro's, but the Brojo's already made a comment similar to this about Alminova. Chances are Bolt read their clever article and thought it made sense, thereby throwing the race against Gay and "proving" he is not on drugs. WAY TO GO BROJOS!!! You did it again!
P.S. I love Lolo.

I'll get right on it...

Don't we all
the only clean ones are those who lose when it counts, lolo

Tell that to Edwin Moses.
Tell that to Edwin Moses.
The dude has a BS in Physics. You can't tell Edwin, shit !
If everyone is doped then people should still be losing with regularity. If Bolt's doping then you should probably suspect everyone else, including Gay (who loses all the time!).
They're are some very sophisticated doping technologies available that are vastly more advanced than the regulatory technology. I would estimate at LEAST 50% of the professional T&F athletes are using PEDs to some extent......and that percentage could be considerably higher.
WHat a sore loser statement! That is, if she said it. Link?
Generally speaking I believe the only sport that is virtually 100% clean of known steroids and PEDs is Horse Racing. The jockeys, horses, trainers, etc. must agree to be subject to 24/7 testing and confinement by state detectives to participate in the sport.
We just need to encourage the widespread practice of betting on human races and then someone will care enough to actually get track and field clean. Plus I would love it if people routinely bet on professional track races.
Betting is what pays for the fulltime detectives to police the sport of Horse Racing. The jockeys, owners, trainers, veterinarians, etc. have to sign away their rights before they are allowed to participate. The detectives in Horse Racing are not 25 year olds who just got out of the academy. These MFers are all double-dippers who retired after 20+ years of patrol, vice-squad, motor, SWAT, management, etc. duty. Almost all are degreed. (Only 1 of 7 Police academy grads last 20+ years and retire).
I think the context and her previous statements need to be considered. She observed to Jonathan Edwards and Colin Jackson that the 100m hurdles is so close now - first few places covered in 12.55-12.57 or something, so it is almost a lottery who will win. So there will only be a clear winner over a number of races if one of them takes drugs.
Maybe this wasn't what she meant, but I think it was.

Horse racing is not "virtually 100% clean," although it appears to have been successful in marketing itself that way.
Think about this, when trainers are caught, the evidence is almost always with multiple horses over a period of time. That kind of evidence comes from testimony, or records of doping, such as schedules of administration or purchase records. They catch it, but not the first time, or even the tenth time, but more often around the 100th time. It's not as regularly policed as you seem to think.
I think I know what Lolo was trying to say.
It seems to me that people are hearing the corollary--that if someone DOESN'T win every single week, they're NOT doping--which is not at all what she meant.
I think she meant that there is no possible way to win every week unless you are doping--that's it. At least in the short sprints.
And I agree with her.
But who has gone unbeaten this year?

3/52 of these dopers were competing in equestrian events...
Horses can be on grass too...
I'd say golf is one of the most drug-free sports
Eq is not even close to Horsey Racing except they both become Jello of course

Please expand on your statement.
...it is very easy to just say something w/o real knowledge of PEDs, which you obviously don't have.
I don't know that Lolo's comment is necessarily meant to be applied to Bolt.
To begin with, bolt isn't racing every week.
Secondly, her own event, the 100-meter hurdles, is more technically and maybe even physically demanding than the flat sprints.
As far as Alminova, who's been mentioned here is concerned, of course she's on drugs.
everyone dopes...all athletes are doping 24/7/365 all day everyday, they all dope. EVERYONE!
